Cedar Creek Manor II has been great, and it's just what my parents needed. There's a whole lot more assistance that they get because there's a much higher staff to resident ratio. There's one staff person for every four residents, and they're wonderful. I have a cousin living there as well. The food is great. They have exercise classes, Bingo, board games, they decorated Christmas trees and cookies, they had entertainers coming in, sing-alongs, religious activities, Catholic rosary a couple times a month, worship services on the weekend, and they have Catholic mass on Sunday mornings in the TV room. It's a community based residential facility, and they're licensed for heavy care, which means people who need a lot more care than just an assisted living place. In the morning, they have people who come into their room and get them up, clean them up, dress them, and help them go to the dining room for breakfast and to the activities. They have lots of help far more than what you'd get in an assisted living situation. You certainly get what you pay for.
