A Day in Time has given my husband the socialability that he needs and I can't give. The director (Cindy Lester) pours her whole heart into her program. She provides respite for other county programs and has recently started a support group and runs two memory building classes for adults. She visits her clients at home or hospital if they are sick. Funding is needed for every possible thing including crafts, food, field trips, etc. This program is 100% interactive, not babysitting. She provides the stimulus her clients need as well as a deserving respite for the caregivers.
