"My mother is at Our House Senior Living, she’s happy where she’s at, it’s a mile from my home, and there was a room available. It’s going great, she has three meals a day, they distribute her medicine for her, and it’s very comfortable. The staff is very good, her room is very small, and the shower is outside her room. It’s more expensive."

"Schmitt Woodland Hills is a wonderful facility located in a perfect spot for residents to sit outside and listen to the birds, or watch the squirrels, or in the fall enjoy the wonderful landscape of foilage. It is located close to a hospital and clinic if the residents need to seek medical care. The facility also offers transporation for the residents to their medical appointments. The facility offers a variety of activities for the residents to do including playing bingo, cards, and other games. There are frequently other activities that may include music and dancing. The staff are very friendly. They seem to be very helpful to the residents. The food appears hot and there is a variety of items served during the month. It appears clean and well organized. The apartments themselves seem to offer everything you would need such as grab bars, nonslip mats, and other safety features. Overall, I think this is a wonderful facility. "

"Our House Senior Living seemed like a decent and nice place. The rooms looked very nice. They were in good size, and they had their own bathrooms. It seemed like a place I would choose. The staff members seemed great. They had three meals a day. I enjoyed it. The place was very clean too."

"Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center was very nice as far as looks. The staff seemed to be pretty good. If she needed help, they would help her, but the administration was not good. They were the ones that told them what to do and not to do. They kept my mom quarantined because she had COVID. The doctor said only 10 days was necessary, but they kept her quarantined for probably 24 days, and that did not help her at all. She had no contact with anybody other than the people that came in to help her or give her food. She couldn't even go to the dining room or anything. The staff was good. Mom had an apartment with a kitchen that had a small refrigerator on the lower cabinet. There was a short wall between the living room and the bedroom. She had a nice bathroom. They had a chapel, a library, a bank, and all this stuff. They used the chapel, but nothing else was open. They said it was because of COVID, but COVID's about over, and it still wasn't open when we left. When she first went there, they said they had an activities director. To start with, they did exercise where they had one person leading the exercise, and that didn't last long. When the activities director left, they used the TV. Mom couldn't see the TV very well, and there was nobody there to help lead the exercises. Then they stopped doing the TV because nobody would go to it. Then there were no exercises and no activities to speak of. Once in a while, they would have music and would have different people volunteering to come in and play music for them, but the activities were very limited."

"My mother is in Riverdale Health Care Center. We've been visiting her once or twice a week. They are all very kind and very helpful to the people that are living there. They don't make fun of them or anything. They are very nice to the patients. Sometimes you go to a place and they get so disgusted with these old people, but not at this place. They're all very kind to the old people at this place. The meals are very good. They know their patients and they know what they can eat and that's what they give them. The food is good and they fix it as the people need it. They have bingo twice a week. They have outings, but not during COVID. They have taken the people to a park, but now with COVID, they've only been doing bingo. The facilities are very good, but they're not very modern. It's an older building, but it's very well kept up. They only charge what you need."

"We have chosen Milestone Senior Living for dad, and he moved there last December. The girls are really nice, and they take good care of him. It's a very clean and nice place. The staff is very helpful and kind. It's a good location. It's right in town, in a residential district. He's not really able to participate in any activities."

"Artisan at Baraboo is pretty old and in fair condition. The meals look pretty good, and they fix them fresh very day at every meal. It's supposed to be memory care, but they don't do any for the people. The people themselves do card games or watch TV. They also said they're supposed to be getting somebody to do activities. They need more staff, and they need more activities. "

"My 101 year old father is a resident here. My sister who lives nearby and I (live in Colorado) could not be more satisfied and comfortable with his living situation here. He calls the staff "angels on earth," lives the home cooked meals (and he was spoiled by my mom and sister's cooking, all the activities and the comraderie of all the folks living there. They truly look out for one another. My dad is quite healthy but has lost all his eyesight. He could not live in a more supportive environment! "

"Maplewood has a home like setting, and the staff was very friendly. It was convenient for my father because it was close to home. The facility is adequate. "

"Greenbriar Apartments was clean. Michael was very nice, very, very helpful, and was very kind in listening to me even after I said how my mom was on a Section 8 program. He even helped me with checking into some possibilities of other resources that could help her. So, I couldn't say better things about the staff. They're very friendly and very nice, but the facility itself just needed a little more TLC. The inside and outside were clean but were very dated. It needed to be freshened up."

"There is a high staff turnover with regard to CNAs. The building underwent a very nice renovation about five years ago, and I think that this improved the environment considerably. The activity department is very good about trying to interact with the residents, keep them entertained. The social services and billing departments do not communicate well. "

"The staff at SSM Health St. Clare Meadows Care Center was really great and dedicated. They're understaffed and overworked, but they take care of whoever is in their building and help them be comfortable. The rooms were a little small. It's just a little studio, but it was nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The activities were great, and they do a lot of things in the community. They had a shuttle bus that will take you to Concerts on the Square, downtown marketplace, farmer's market, event center, Madison, and Albert Gardens. They had a good volunteer staff. My mother was there for rehab. The food was good, all made fresh for the most part, and was pretty tasty."

"R House was a very supportive facility during my grandmother's time there. She was able to maintain some independence in leaving the facility since she was there only for a period of rehabilitation. However, most of the residents in the facility were in far worse condition and this lead to some anxiety and depression. She also commented that the food there was subpar compared to the proclaimed homemade meals. The facility did keep a cozy environment that would be suitable atmosphere if the residents were all of equivalent minds. "
