Milestone Senior Living - Hillsboro

My mom moved in at Milestone Senior Living-Hillsboro more than a week ago. We chose it because it is a lovely place, and we like it. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. My mom's apartment is nice and we feel good about her being there. It has a kitchenette, a large living room, a nice sized bedroom, and a very nice bathroom. It is very expensive but very nice. Mom said the food is good, and the dining room is very nice and very large. They have games, card games, and a beautiful library with an aquarium and a fireplace. The other night, there was a big group of people and they sang while everybody was eating dinner. It was beautiful.

Milestone Senior Living - Hillsboro was a very nice place. The memory care rooms were large with private bathrooms and large windows that looked out to a field. The pro piece was that it was close to my dad's pastor who could visit him often, and it was also in a community that was into farming, and so a lot of the residents were farmers. However, when we were in the area that they ate, there were not enough open windows. It was a little dark, but the residents' room we looked at was very bright. I met Lisa and she was very, very knowledgeable about her residents that were admitted, and I thought she did a really good job. I had talked to her also two years ago and I was impressed with her back then. It's nice when you're able to talk to the same people because that means they haven't changed their jobs. So I thought that her, still being there, and the same nurse was still there, were some positive ones.

We have chosen Milestone Senior Living for dad, and he moved there last December. The girls are really nice, and they take good care of him. It's a very clean and nice place. The staff is very helpful and kind. It's a good location. It's right in town, in a residential district. He's not really able to participate in any activities.
