We toured White River Memory Care, and their manager greeted us. She was very nice, explained their process and billing package, went through my dad's health condition, and put him in the categories they needed to determine the level of care. We walked through the facility. It was nice and well-lit. All the employees appeared to know each of the clients at a personal level. They were eating at the time, and the food looked fine. They have a fenced outdoor area and a garden to walk around. They have a very nice activities group. Also, the staff and clientele have been there for a while. They get along well, and they know each other well. It was a very tight-knit community group of caring people.

It has a very pleasant atmosphere and it is a very welcoming community. We met some of the residents and some of the employees, and everyone was friendly and cheerful. We were interested in the memory care. It's going to be full service. It's everything that a person would need in that situation. There was a nice outdoor area that the residents could use. There are barbershop and beauty shop facilities. They told us that they provide rides to medical outings for residents, to shopping, and so forth. I was very impressed. The staff welcomed us in. She answered all my questions. She was very helpful. My son and daughter-in-law accompanied me, and we're very happy with the answers, and all the information we received. If we had decided to place my husband in memory care at this time, we would have chosen that facility.
