The facility is extremely clean but is an older building. The staff was masked, business like and extremely friendly from our entry to exit. We viewed the maintenance doing a routine repair. A large group from CVS was there giving Covid shots. The clients were coming and going in the halls with staff members. Normally many residents come and go, but there are covid rules in place now. The staff is providing activities and special games for entertainment. One resident told us about the good food she had. We witnessed staff in motion helping and directing the entire time we were there.

I was not very impressed with Hilltop Park Rehabilitation And Care Center. It was very clean as far as that could be. However, I like people to care, and I didn't see that the way I should have. I'm very picky; I'm a big advocate for my family and any of my friends. I'm one who they ask to look out for places and to feel them out because I've got a good feel or a bad feel. However, I didn't care about Hilltop Park. There are always things that you can improve in places, but Hilltop Park had a lot of things they needed to improve, in my book. It was beautiful, and it was very clean. But the cleanliness or the niceness around doesn't tell you everything. I just didn't read good vibes there. The person who gave the tour wasn't hands-on, either. In other words, when you're going to show, you're going to go on and on if you want to sell your building. That's how I look at it. However, when you don't, you're not selling your building, not to somebody who is looking for that. Nevertheless, the facility is not bad. It looks great. The dining area is big. They do a lot of activities there.

My mom was at Hilltop Park. She had her own room, which she preferred. She liked it. The staff was good. Everybody that I met seemed sincere in trying to help her. She didn't have any major complaints about the staff. She is a person who is pretty picky, but she liked the staff. They brought her meals, she ate the food, and she didn't complain about it. Overall, it was pretty good. The facility was older and it kinda showed, but it was clean. Medicare was paying it for me, but we got what we paid for.
