I am presently staying at Whispering Pines. The facility has been here a long time. It has a reputation of being a nice facility and I find it to be good. There are friendly people here and they are interested giving good service to the residents. We have entertainment every week with different bands or combo. They have a piano here that we play. They play bingo. They have movies and they serve popcorns and drinks. They have donuts periodically and coffee. The food is good, but the menu is lacking a little bit at times.

Like I have mentioned before, I visit different assisted living homes, as well as nursing homes. I visited the Whispering Pines assisted living place recently, and was fairly okay with it. The location of the assisted living homes isn't really in the best part of town. The street that the assisted living homes are on regularly has break-ins and the reputation of the area has never been spectacular. Although, the Whispering Pines claims to have top notch security for their facility. It was average inside, there wasn't much special about it. The rooms were very small, but the lady that I was visiting said they have a lot of activities, and extra services that can be purchased with the stay. It appears that this facility is a place for the lower income elderly people, because it was pretty average. The facility was clean, and the workers that were there were friendly.
