My mother is in Promiseland Assisted Living III in Lubbock. They're very friendly, and they are all sincere about their desire and need to take care of the tenants there. They keep the place clean, and they even care about the families that come and visit them. It's very nice and unique. The staff genuinely care for their people. I have not sampled the food, but I've been asked if I'd like to join them and have some food, and that's unique in its own right because that doesn't happen at the other places that my mom has been. I'm very happy with this place right here. I don't see anything out of place, and everything is maintained all the time. I don't know exactly what they have going on in terms of activities, but I do know that they had a Mother's Day one. They got cake for everybody and invited the family over. My dad went over for it, and they had food that they shared. I think the price is pretty much on our target. It is well worth the knowledge that my mom is being cared for by people who genuinely care about her. It's a whole lot better than the place she was at before.

Promiseland Assisted Living is the fifth facility in a year where we had our mom in. It is a private home; they only keep six women. It is extremely clean. It seems to be really well-staffed. They are very good. The lady there is pretty much there all day. She will not hire anyone that has less than two years of experience either from another facility or with hospice. With regards to food, it is not ever bad. Mother has no complaints about the food; it's really good there.
