I like Brookdale Remington Park. The people were very friendly. They were having chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn, and I thought that would be good, but we didn't get invited to eat. We had to have a voucher or a reservation, but we enjoyed the tour. The room that I could afford was very small. The staff was very nice. The man who showed us around was very informative and the nurse took all my information about my meds, and she was very, very nice. It was very clean. The atmosphere was friendly and very nice. We just got to look in the dining area, and there were people in there eating. It looked like a restaurant. They showed us the beauty shop part, a room where you could have parties, a church where they had church service and Bible study, and it was very nice.

Brookdale Remington Park looked very good. They had very nice facilities. The admissions staff took great care in explaining their program and answering any questions that I had. The rooms looked very satisfactory for an assisted living facility. They took a long time to talk to me. The people there were attentive and very informing.

Brookdale Remington Park had the best facilities. They had medical staff 24/7 and they would take control of your medications. It was an overall package and was good. It was a little expensive, but if I were to pick a place in my mind, that would be the place I would like to go. When I was there, it was lunchtime so people were at the tables eating their lunch. I was offered one, but I refused it because I had just eaten about an hour or so before I went. The staff were informative about their programs and the things they do. They were interacting with the residents and having barbecues in the patio area. Any questions I had, they were right there to answer. It was an older building, but it was clean and kept pretty nicely. The studio apartment had one bed. It was clean, but it was really small. Then they had a library, a television room, a table set up along the halls where you could stop and work on puzzles, and a game room where they go and have activities.

Our visit to Brookdale Remington Park was really good. They had friendly staff and we spoke with several residents who liked living there at the facility. The living atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The rooms were nice, they had a good layout of the rooms. We saw the food but we didn't eat there, they had invited us to come back and I appreciated the invitation to eat there. But we haven't gone back for that. They have lots of activities like crafting, social activities, movie nights, exercise, activities, and they have religious activities and groups. They had a barber and beauty shop, they have nurses on staff, and they have a very good resident-to-staff ratio. And I like that the staff cares about the residents. It was like being in a nice hotel as opposed to a nursing home.

I toured Brookdale Remington Park and they only took us to the dining room, the room that we were considering for the price, and then we went back to the office. They've got very dark colors on the walls. The staff who toured me around, though, was nice.

Everything looked good at Brookdale Remington Park. We felt very comfortable. I think it's going to be a good fit for my father-in-law, and it's close to us. The apartments were very nice. We're going with a two-bedroom apartment. They served three meals a day, offered laundry once a week and cleaning, and helped with medications. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
