We chose Beehive Homes of Lubbock because it doesn't have a lot of residents. I think they have maybe 10 to 12 residents there versus a nursing home, which has a lot more. My father-in-law's room is clean. It's perfect. It's like a one-bedroom apartment and it's very suitable. I haven't tried the food, but I met with the person who prepares the meals, and I like the part when you walk in the front door, you can smell the food they're preparing for the residents. It would be easy for my father-in-law to stay in bed all day, but I like that they make it a point to get him up and put him in a wheelchair. They have a TV room so some of them sit around and watch TV.

I chose the BeeHive Homes of Lubbock for my father. He's been there four days but he passed away Monday. They met my needs and they're very caring. My mom is there too. Her room is efficient. And she eats what she can, and they catered to her as far as her likes and dislikes. My mom has only been there four days. They're very good.
