Most times, I feel the staff is caring and helpful. Everyone has their days. I find the nightshift aides to be more on their toes than the dayshift. Sometimes, I'd wait 45 minutes for someone to change my adult diaper, and I couldn't walk to go by myself. Sometimes, I'd take my diaper off which they don't like, but they'd answer the room light and ask you to turn it off but sometimes they'd never come back, so my advice is tell them your light stays on until they help you. As far as my wound care they made sure I was kept up on my care. It just depends on who is having a good or bad day. The PT's and OT's were great. As far as activities, a gal tried to make things more fun by bringing in music and treats. This is during the Covid thing.

It is a very loving facility. The aides are very caring, and treat my dad like he is family. They have many games and field trips as well as many other fun things to offer to do. They are very welcoming to family and encourage family to be involved. The rooms are cramped

I am a daughter to one of the residents there.The aides are warm and caring and it is a family-like atmosphere. Would recommend this home to everyone that seeks excellent care. It doesn't smell like a nursing home either.

Fairview Manor is not where I would want my loved one to spend his/her "Golden Years". I have visited many times and each time I left, I left feeling dirty. The staff is very "rough" in appearance and in attitude. I'm not even sure if any of them have any sort of qualifications to tend to the elderly. The rooms are small and cramped, and so are the "recreation" rooms. I feel very sorry for the people who live there. The residents do not get very much interaction, and the place has a stench that you can barely wash off.
