The Oaks at Radford Hills

My father is at The Oaks at Radford Hills. The staff is excellent. They have done a great job in caring for my father and keeping me updated on all his needs, progression, and like the appointments he's needed. They have been an excellent advocate for him. It's a clean facility. The residents there all seem very happy. They have a very open layout and very large semi or private rooms. They have the main patio in front that a lot of the residents hang out at. They also have activities.

The rooms are awful. The bathroom had holes in it. They do not check the patients enough. One of the nurses told my brother to shut up. Food was terrible. I would not take any of my family there again. All the nurses stand around at front desk & talk.

Please read the reviews on this Nursing home. My dad died here due to septic shock because his catheter was not kept clean. They have any citations with the State of Texas.

Lovely Lady

We checked The Oaks, but they were under construction at the time. It was difficult to get to any place because of all the construction, and so that turned us off. The rooms were fine. It was recommended highly for its physical therapy, and that's what we were specifically interested in for my mom.
