I had my uncle at coronado years ago and recently visited the facility. They did a great job with him years ago he was not easy to care for with his behaviors and they did a great job encouraging him to get up out of bed go to activities and when he was being difficult they would continue to care for him and keep trying. The building looks great now they have remodeled and updated the residents looked happy, dressed nice, and the staff were nice and greeted me I must say I walked past four staff members and every single one of them said hello and two asked if I needed any help it was so nice to see them so welcoming and helpful.

I brought my loved one here after a horrible experience with another nursing home. I was scared since we had such bad care before. Everyone there was amazing. They called and kept me updated, loved my grandmother abs prayer with her when I couldn’t be there. I was so happy here. The rooms were very clean and ALL staff were amazing and pleasant every time I talked with them.

I received a warm welcome from Coronado staff and residents. Coronado offers physical therapy and WoundCare. The cleaning staff serve each room daily. Coronado also has activities- bingo, fitness fun, birthday parties, movies time, bible study, smoke breaks etc. Additionally the nursing staff are professional, compassionate and patient-care centered.

I had a friend enter this nursing home after a hospital stay to build his strength back up. He was there less that four weeks and he developed three decubitis ulers (B/L heels and Buttocks). They left him in the bed all day. His muscle weakness increased due to lack of movement. They never even did ROM excersises with him. He was fully content of bowel and bladder when he went into this place: within a week, the nurses slapped a diaper on him. Now he doesn'e even try to even use a urinal. There is no phone in the room for him to call anyone and the staff refuses to take him a phone. The staff is rude and lazy. Do not place anyone here.

Lovely Lady

Coronado Nursing Center has more in it. It's a much older facility, but it is not a bad thing at all. It had more residents in it than the others we saw. The residents seem to be quite content. It was quite clean. It was a really nice feel when you went there.
