My father-in-law was at Elk River Health and Rehab, but he passed away. We chose it because it was located near our home. It was just right down the road from where we live, so we decided to go with that. It's a nursing home, but they offer rehabilitation services also. He was admitted there from the hospital to get some rehab and to build him up, but he ended up passing away before we could get him built up. It's an older facility, but they're in the process of building a brand new one. It will probably be built next year. The staff members were very good. They answered all of our questions. They were very helpful. We were not allowed to go in because of the COVID situation. They have a no-visitor policy, but they always welcomed us to the window. We would come in and they would let us talk to him on the phone. They were just very friendly and helpful. They took very good care of him.

If you care anything about your loved ones, please keep them out of this facility. We placed my father here (stayed almost a year) and it was so sad and eye opening. Everytime we came in to visit my father, he smelled of urine and feces, and looked terrible. We learned that the staff would leave him on the ground (he would fall and could not walk) for over 24 hours at a time if not longer. And leave him to urinate and deficate all over himself...for days. He wasn't getting any food or water and had to constantly be taken to the hospital. They never cleaned him, and didn't properly feed or care for him in anyway. We thankfully have found a great placement for him now at another facility. I pray that now that the new building is built they will replace all staff with decent, ethical people.

My loved one was a resident at Elk River for too long (almost a year). We kept waiting and waiting for things to get better. The changes that upper management made were to the detriment of the residents. Administration changes were exceptionally bad. Current administration lied to my face multiple times about the care of my loved one. Nobody wants to place the ones they love in a nursing home. And Elk River is the prime example of why you don’t want your loved one in a nursing home. We learned our lesson and definitely do not recommend Elk River to anyone who is looking for an honest, loving, nurturing environment for their loved one. I wish I could say different but I’m basing this review on truth and facts. I’ve got written documentation and pictures.

Ardmore on Main was clean and well organized. The nurses were prompt anytime my daughter needed anything. They were clean and polite. Her room was a double room there was only one chair for a visitor to sit in while visiting for both patients. The techs were a little slow, but they took care of the patients. Doctor's appointments were arranged, along with transportation if needed. Very friendly and caring and answered all questions that were presented to them. Medications were provided at the correct times and there were no errors with the medications. I would recommend this location.

My grandmother was placed in Ardmore On Main by recommendation of her doctor after being placed on oxygen. At 67 years old, her health was poor and doctor recommended constant supervision. At first, we despised the thought of placing her there, having heard stories about bad care in nursing homes. I was really surprised by the caring and devoted staff on hand at this facility. During our visits, she spoke highly of the nurses and staff that looked after her. She pointed out how helpful they were and how they listened to her stories. And she had a lot of stories to tell! One staff member in particular she looked extremely forward to seeing everyday because she was just so friendly. The facility itself was kept clean. I never once noticed the trash needing to be emptied or trash on the floor. I was a bit worried because they really don't have that many amenities, but my grandmother wasn't bothered by it. She was allowed to move around and visit other occupants so that she was never alone, which she hated being. All in all, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for a nursing home in this area. The doctor made a great recommendation and I hope I can do the same for other people without a referral from a physician. It does like with activities for the residents to do, but it makes up for that with a kind and gentle staff.

My cousin was admitted 4 years ago and me and family and friends go to visit him at least twice a week. And every time we go were greeted by the staff and asked if we need help with anything. They serve breakfast around 7 O'clock and the staff help feed him or we can do it.Their very helpful and really friendly! When were there my cousin talks about how he likes it there and game night "he really loves game night"and the people there who he made friends with.He tells us the staff treats him nice and are always there if you need them.We can take him outside and watch t.v. in his room and help with him if needed or he needs it.The place is very clean and well keep. It's so tidy that I would not mind going there if I had to go to a living facility.Everybody there including the staff are really sweet and kind and talk about how great our cousin is.It's better than I expected and he loves the food there and how they take care of him.The staff let us push him around the facility and see how nice the facility is.The facility and staff said it was an honor to have him there and love taking care of him and that he is very kind.He has a call button if he needs anything and they answer in less than a minute when he presses the call button for help. They have a lot of staff members who are experienced and good to the people there and the people who visit.I would definitely recommend this place and it staff.A+
