Edgewood Brookings LLC is wonderful. The staff is lovely, caring, and I couldn't have picked a better place for my mom. She's happy there and doing good. They're in pretty high demand, so there was only one available room, but everything is incredibly clean and very nice. It's like a single room with her own bathroom. They also have games, puzzles, music, and they've always got something going on. The residents are welcome to go wherever they like to. They got a hair salon, a couple of communal living room areas, a nice dining hall activity center, and a backyard that's got nice trees, and a shady area. It's not a large place, but it's very nice.

I was very impressed with Greenleaf during our visit and tour. I saw several residents with visitors, smiling and laughing. It was like they were in their own homes, even though they really weren't. The overall atmosphere of Greenleaf is truly homey, not institutional at all. I feel that this is extremely important in an assisted living facility. All of the staff that I saw seemed to treat the residents as individuals who were important. They called them by name and interacted with them more than I have seen in other facilities. They seemed to really listen to the residents and what they had to say, taking time for them. I didn't notice any residents who seemed to be unhappy. To me, that is very important and something I always notice when touring these types of facilities. The grounds and interior were in good condition and thoroughly clean. Greenleaf is definitely an assisted living center that I feel would meet the needs of many people needing assisted living care. I would feel comfortable with my grandma residing there.
