We are going to move my sister into Sandpiper Village. I had a very good impression of the staff members there. They have bingo and walks. They take them out in a van and do shopping. They have a lot of activities there. The two people we talked to were very knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend them both. They had a library and a piano with singing. They had different groups of people for different activities. They had quite a few of the activities there.

Sandpiper is in need of a management system. Very disorganized and poor patient care.

Sandpiper Village was dirty and old. All of the old people were parked in front of a TV. It was yucky. They walked around with us and showed us the different rooms, but it didnt smell nice. It was bad.

My grandmother used to live at the Sandpiper Village. I know that the apartments were very spacious -- much more spacious than where my momma is -- and hers was one of the more expensive apartments. Their activities were really good. This one was more expensive than where my mom is now; she couldn't quite afford it.

My roommate's grandfather stayed in this retirement community for a few years. I had never heard anything bad about this place until his grandfather passed away this past weekend. When my roommate and his family came to collected his late grandfather's belongings, the staff had taped sticky notes to his possessions with their names written on them. This is unprofessional, unethical and down right despicable. The supervisor knew this was happening and even ALLOWED it to happen. I don't know anything else about this retirement community, but DO NOT leave any valuable possessions there as they will be claimed by the staff. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I chose Sandpiper Village because I just liked it better. The rooms are big and very nice. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating, and very friendly -- they are very nice people. We order food from a menu, but it is a limited menu. We have two choices, but the food is very good. They have Bingo, dancing, and Rubiks cube -- there is just something going on all the time. My husband and I are very happy here. We checked out several facilities in the area, but this was by far the best.

Just got back from my stay here. Had a good time in Charleston. This place is nice but the beds or very hard not comfortable at all,and it has a padio but no table or chairs to sit on the padio. There is no broom mop in the rental to clean up after your self no dish towels to wash the dishes. The residents or very nice. But if you want to be up late this is not the place for you the rate is good but you must be at about 65 or older to rent her. There are somethings that they could do to make you more better stay.

I was at SandPiper to visit my friends. It was really nice there. It's not as expensive and not as pretty but it gives good service.
