My mother has been at this facility for over 7 years. She had been at another local facility prior to this and I am sure she would have been gone if I had not taken her from the other facility and brought her to Conner Williams. It is a very small facility and the staff is very friendly and always helpful and my family and I feel that she gets excellent care. The facility is old but it has a homelike atmosphere. My mother is very happy and I can see that she is well taken care of.

My grandma is at Conner-Williams. The staff is very attentive. They take care of her very well. They actually do their job, and they know what they’re doing. The facility is a lot smaller than where she was before, but for my grandma, it is better. The care is better, but the place is smaller. I’ve seen them watched movies, and I’ve seen pictures where they have cookouts and stuff. However, the general atmosphere kind of creeps me out personally. I guess it used to be a mansion, and they turned it into a home. It is very small. When I go visit my grandma, she’s in the lobby like a gathering area, it is very small, there are these old people everywhere, and they just stare at you like they have mental problems. I guess because my grandma has Alzheimer’s, she got put into that section of it. The facility just is really creepy in there.

I had a family member in this facility and it one of the BEST in the area! My family member got wonderful care and I was very pleased with the staff! I recommend this facility very highly! I would not hesitate to have another member of my family go and stay at Connor Williams!!!

just looking at homes

I visited this home today on the recommendation of a hospice nurse helping me locate a nursing home for my Mom. I was horrified at what I saw on walking through the facility. three or more to a shabby room and elderly just sitting around looking forlorn with no aides or nurses in sight. I was able to walk in with no one stopping me and inquiring what I wanted. A very sad situation for any one who has to reside there. I left in tears. No way that I would put my Mom in that place, a total disgrace!!!
