We placed our mom in Cherry Park in Gresham. We chose this place because of the convenience of proximity. They also had an opening in their memory care unit, which is what my mom needed. Some other places we looked at were willing to make accommodations, but most of them were pretty full up on memory care. It was a small unit, which we thought would be best for Mom, and then just the proximity of the location itself. The staff had been very, very good. I think they've been very caring for Mom, taking a lot of attention to her in trying to make her feel at home as much as possible. Of course, there's a lot of anxiety associated with doing this, and they've done a really good job of trying to acclimate her into the everyday setting, and in going to the lunches, and really helping her acclimate to the other people that are in the memory care unit. So I think they've gone above and beyond to really try to make her feel comfortable. In terms of the food, they were raving about the Friday clam chowder. She was on a diet that she didn't really appreciate, but that's not a negative thing towards the food that was offered. They had a preacher coming in and playing music. I know they engaged her in a number of the activities they had, bingo being one of them, so I know that you have considerable activities that they try to get the residents involved with. She's in a memory care unit, so there's a small outdoor courtyard that's protected, and it's very nice. The facility for memory care is very small, I don't think they have more than 14 units, but we thought that was very adequate. They had a nice little cafeteria but they didn't really make the food there. They made it in the larger facility and brought the food over to memory care. So I'm very pleased with the amenities that they offer.

I was only shown one room at Cherry Park Plaza. I did not get a tour of the facilities. The one room was nice, but it was too much for me. Basically, I don't want to have a full kitchen. It was a full kitchen and that's not what I was looking for. The staff was OK. The food was good. They had several alternatives to choose from. It was clean and well-kept. It looked nice.

We liked the staff at Cherry Park Plaza. We liked the facility. We had a nice meal. The apartments were good size. They were well-maintained and they had a full-size refrigerator. They were friendly, excellent, and knowledgeable. The cleanliness was very good. They would have the best chance of getting us to move in there.

Cherry Park Plaza was not the favorite one that I've seen so far. It was an older facility, but things didn't look messy or anything. The person that I talked to, showed me around and gave me some information in the handout, but I wasn't overly impressed with the tour that I had. I was able to see 2 of the rooms there on the memory care side, but they were small and older. They had a dining area that looked pretty nice. One of the people that was working in the dining area came out and offered me a cup of coffee. In the memory care facility, they had a general area where the residents could watch television and had comfortable chairs. It seemed small and it wouldn't seem to be real comfortable.

Everything about Cherry Park Plaza was nice and their price was a little bit better. The food was good. The facilities were good. They have lots of things to do. The floor plan was very nice, too. I looked at one-bedroom and two-bedrooms. They were very nice and had lots of closet space. It has a kitchen with a refrigerator, a stove, and a range, and then there are places to wash and dry your clothes available (not inside the apartments). The people I worked with couldn't have been any better. They were all extremely nice and extremely helpful.

Cherry Park Plaza was amazing. I went in and was able to tour the place, even though the person that does the tours wasn't there. The rooms were great. A couple of them were a little bit small, but they're working on updating them. The dining area was right in the middle of everything, so that was nice. A portion of their food is available all day long. So, you can get food whenever you would like. Their kitchen was open a little bit more. They have plenty of amenities. They do scenic tours and they also try to come up with all kinds of stuff for the residents to do. The staff was very pleasant, very accommodating, and helpful.

We're very, very pleased with Cherry Park Plaza, the staff is excellent, they're working with us especially with the COVID thing, it's really difficult. They're making some steps out of their way to accommodate the needs that we have since we can't necessarily be in. We feel it's a good, comfortable, safe, and effectively run place. My mother is in independent living, and my father moved into memory care from another place. So far, it's so good, I'm very impressed with everything that's taken place thus far. The food seems to be very good, they seem to be properly nourished, very good scheduling for meals, they're able to relax and eat together. They've given me feedback already on things I can do to give my father more to do in his room in memory care 'cause his functionality is a little better than we anticipated. They've been on top of keeping me informed on all those kinds of changes. My father is a little hesitant to take part in activities, but if he wanted to, there's plenty of exercise, they have entertainment, and group activities where they can all work together. I'd say it's ideal.

I really like Cherry Park Plaza. There is a bigger caregiver to patient ratio, so I feel like my mother is well taken care of. She enjoys everything that they do. They take them out every Friday, and everybody in memory care gets to go. They're not left alone in their rooms; they're kept in an area where they're kept busy. The dining area in memory care is just for the memory care people, but the food is good. I've had breakfast there and I've seen what they're serving her and it's much better than what she used to get. I love the staff, they're all really nice, they were really cooperative, and helped us make it a smooth move. It's a great facility.

We liked Cherry Park Plaza very much. It was very nice. They had plenty of activities. They had movies most of the time, and they were having a celebration for Cinco De Mayo the day we were there. I wasn't unimpressed. We had lunch there, and it was very nice. The one and two-bedrooms looked very nice. There was plenty of amenities and most things were included. There wasn't an extra charge for TV. The staff was very nice, very pleasant and very efficient. The manager was very kind to the residents and very pleasant. They were serving people very well.

We fell in love with Cherry Park Plaza but it was too expensive and my mother-in-law couldn't afford it. They didn't take Medicaid either. We would have liked to put her there but it didn't work. It just felt like home and it was beautiful. The lobby had a homey feeling and didn't feel like an institution.

Cherry Park Plaza was a nice place. It was clean and organized. The residents seemed to be comfortable. However, there was nothing about their amenities that jumped out at me. There was nothing that was special or different. They had a library and they offered transportation too. The staff members were very efficient.

My mother-in-law is at Cherry Park Plaza. She doesnt like it, but she is very picky. We like it, though. It is a great community. They have activities going on, and on weekends, they take trips. They also have a library area, a movie room, a game room, and a beautiful dining room. As far as I know, the food is good, too. My mother-in-law's room is nice, spacious, and clean. They also have a housekeeper who comes in. The people are friendly. It is a really nice community. They're nice, helpful, and went above and beyond when my mother-in-law moved in. Her furniture is coming from Oklahoma, so she arrived before her furniture. However, they furnished the room for her until her stuff arrived.

I toured Cherry Park Plaza, and that came out very nice. The people were interacting better and more connected with the people around them. Several caregivers call the people by their names.

Cherry Park Plaza is very beautiful and very clean. It's about the same size as the other community, but their bedrooms are actually the nicest. We were looking at a 1-bedroom, and it was like the nicest and the biggest bedroom that we saw. It has a better layout, and it is not as expensive. Activities are fine too.

My father moved into Cherry Park Plaza about a month ago. The memory care is small with only 14 beds. The staff is dedicated, and a spouse of a resident really liked it there. We talked to the staff who said they really liked it there. However, there were a couple of hiccups in terms of dedication, monitoring, and some gaps in care. For the most part, we feel there's a mission and a tone of dedication that we did not see in the other places. The food is really good, and they go on outings.

My mother is living in Cherry Park Plaza. Overall, it’s clean and in a nice neighborhood. They have movies, bingo, trips, and Bible studies. I have not eaten there, but she says the food is good. It has everything my mom needs, and she’s likes it there.

Cherry Park Plaza was my mother's favorite place. It was really clean and the apartments were bigger. They had a little garden area where you could put some tomato plants and some grounds that you could walk around. They had a lot of indoor things, i.e., exercise classes, bingo, and different things during evenings. My overall impression of the place was that it was really nice. They seemed really good for my parents, and they would've been really happy there. I'm hoping that they choose that place next year when they sell their house. The food was good; they seemed to like it.

My son's grandmother moved into this facility over 5 years ago after selling her home. And has been living there ever since! The facility is very appealing from the outside and I belive It to be quite homey for the residents also. The staff there that I have spoken to personally were very professional and quite nice also! they are very personal with those whom live there. they have a kitchen downstairs that is run like a restaraunt I guess. you can either cook in your room or allow them to cook for you. and you choose of their menu they have at the tables they hasve set for them at pretty much all hours of the days. The rooms are kinda of small i though but are kept nicely for them. they all have a sm. private balconey or patio also. They have maid service available for them if thdey like. and the maids come in once a week.I know they provide some kind of entertainment there for them at least once if not more a month with in the facility. They also have group outings as well as a bus they have on site for medical visits and arranged days to go shopping also. there is ample parking as well as parking right ouside their main doors if needed. ii know the facility is kinda pricey i think but, she likes living there and that is good enough for us! becouse it is very important that she and other like and enjoy where they live. Isn't it?
