I highly recommend Ocean Ridge Assisted Living. It is top notch in every aspect and have the best activity director in the business, as far as I'm concerned. They have great staff, great food, and a great director. Their nurses are spot-on and in the business for a long time. The rooms are very clean.

Ocean Ridge Assisted Living was excellent. Everybody was really nice. It was a beautiful facility. It was bright and it had a very good feeling about it. Had that been in Florence, we would have chosen that. I'm a vegetarian, so they don't really cater to vegetarians, but they had a good salad. I had a potato, and it was actually pretty good.

We toured Ocean Ridge Assisted Living. It has been somewhere between 15 and 20 years, and you would never know it. It was just new. Their maintenance staff must be phenomenal because it was neat. We went in and we were greeted by their placement lady, Barbara. You just want to adopt her because she's just warm and fuzzy, and has a lovely southern accent. They had a piano player playing a grand piano, and they were having ice cream socials. They showed us 3 or 4 different rooms. I think they showed us the studio, the deluxe studio, and then the one-bedroom apartment. They had a little kitchen in there.

Ocean Ridge Assisted Living was very accommodating. The facilities are beautiful. The food was very good. I had chicken nuggets and salad and even a dessert. They've got wonderful and beautiful grounds. I fell in love with it. It feels like it's in a wooded area and that's what appeals to me. The people were very nice.

I visited Ocean Ridge Assisted Living and they were very nice and helpful, but it's probably gonna be out of my mom's price range. The staff seemed very caring about their residents too. The rooms were very clean and functional. The community is set out in the woods, so they have deers and whatnot. If COVID is not rampant, they also do arts and crafts, bingo, and movie nights. If my mom had the money she'd be in there now.

Ocean Ridge Assisted Living was an excellent, quality place, and their price was probably the highest because they had beautiful grounds and very active programs. They covered pretty much all the basic things, like activities and extra care that seniors would need. It was a very nice place. Some of their residents were very nice.

Ocean Ridge was very nice with a staff that seemed very nice and good. Because I make greeting cards, I go there for classes that are not handled by the home I'm in now; we just go there and use their facilities. I’ve probably been there 20 times. Everybody is so nice, it’s clean, and I’ve seen them doing exercises and sing-alongs. They can have pets in there.

The workers in Ocean Ridge were kind of stiff and not as cheerful. The rooms were very nice. It was elegant looking when you go in. It was kind of country looking but it’s not in the country. They have an elevator and I was wondering what to do if the electricity goes out. I was not impressed.

After having a fall and breaking her hip, my best friend's mother could not care for her daily personal needs, living alone in her own home. At first she was quite angry at the realization she would need to find a place to live where she could have someone come in and help her several times a day. We searched for a suitable place in Coos Bay. Many of the other facilities were geared toward's completely invalid residents, where Ocean Ridge is capable of that and for people who just need an extra hand. The staff was eager to show us it's grounds, rooms and amenities. The residents were more than happy to tell us about their experiences living there. Every one that we spoke to, loved living there. It was a bright, clean and comfortable setting. I couldn't believe the social atmosphere with this place. It seemed less like a health based facility and more like a classy apartment building. While walking the grounds we noticed a shuttle van that had the Ocean Ridge name and logo on it, pull up and pick up a couple of ladies standing out front. When I inquired as to what the shuttle did, the staff said that it was for many different things including taking residents to doctor's appointments, going to the nearby casino and shopping. By the end of our initial visit, my friend's mother had decided she'd like to give this place a try. She's now been there for 2 years and couldn't be happier. Once she became healed and healthy enough to be living on her own again, she decided she wanted to stay right there with the people she'd made friends with. She said that the convenient "reminder" services they offer at Ocean Ridge give her ultimate peace of mind. She gets medication reminders, appointment reminders and wake up calls for days when she has appointments. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great assisted living facility.

The Apartments were very comfortable and reasonably large. They offered many amenities including a large dining room, cocktail area, library and many more. The tenants who I seen seemed happy. The management was cordial and friendly. Nice setting.
