I am currently in the Embassy of Cambridge for long-term care, and I am tickled to death to be here. Everything that I've used so far has been better than I even thought it would be. The meals are fantastic, the laundry is done properly, and the staff members are all state-tested nursing aides, LPNs, and RNs. The management also has a caring attitude, so I couldn't be happier. I have a private room, and it is twice the size of the one I came from. It has big windows, too, so I can look out and watch deer. It's just a nice place. They have all kinds of activities, and I'm a preacher, so I'm holding services here on Sundays and Wednesdays.

When you walk in, it's dark, gloomy, and the smell isn't the most pleasant thing either. My dad's been there 2½ months so far. We've been trying To get his insurance application filled out and submitted. And a referral put in for assisted living since the first week. Andria, I believe the discharge nurse, Told me on September 12th (and I have texts) She was going to help my dad Fill the application out the very next day. Because of my work schedule, I am not able to be there all the time to help him do these things. 2½ weeks later, She tells my dad It has an even been started yet, but when I Asked her again on September 23rd If she had heard anything regarding my dad And she said no she will check again. Come to find out she didn't even submit the application until September 30th when I made my dad go talk face to face with her!!! Now here it is October 25th, And I message to see if she's heard anything from the september 30th application, Only to find out she followed it in a county that he does not live in.So it's gonna be delayed even longer. The food is horrible. My dad has dialysis 3x a week And they check his protein in his weight at every appointment. He has lost 11 pounds in 2½ months And his protein levels have dropped so much they are giving him supplements at the kidney center. It took a month for us to get him a working TV in his room and over a week for them to fix the light in his room. The place needs investigated.I don't think that people are being taken care of properly, Especially the ones that can't speak. I definitely do not recommend this place

Rooms are very plain, not homey at all. Staff is rude and the food is very bad.

Food is terrible and poor quality. Not enough staff. Poor showering for residents. Bath rooms smell and never cleaned.

My mother was in this facility for two years and was a long term patient on Hospice. The environment is dark and depressing, with a significant stench of urine throughout. Due to Covid restrictions, the facility would not allow family, or even Hospice, in to visit my mother. This was the major turning point in my mother’s care. We were always reassured that she was doing well and being cared for properly when we would call in to check on Mom. Upon returning, we found that my mom was not receiving the proper hygiene care she should be. Her teeth, in particular, had become so decayed that it was obvious they had not been brushed in quite some time. The enamel was breaking off and serious decay had set in. The faculty were very rude overall and became resistant towards us trying to get the situation resolved. They tried to pass the blame to others and denied their responsibility in the negligent care. We immediately moved Mom to a much better facility. I do not recommend this facility at all. If your loved one cannot speak for themselves, the staff will not take the time to provide the vital care that they need. If I could provide a zero star rating, I would.

This facility has the best care, clean rooms and a very positive staff. Their love for the patients/residents are far above any other facility of this type. Food was outstanding and the Admission Director as well as the other management team. I highly recommend this facility and if you have any questions please feel free to email me at ds8649@yahoo.com. They are more than a 5 star facility....
