Nursing Home Communities in Wichita Falls, TX

"My mother had been at Encompass. Every once in a while she had skilled nursing there, but it was mostly rehab. It was excellent. We have always liked it. The staff members were very kind. They were caring, they interacted with you in a great personable manner, and they were thoughtful. They were great, lovely people. My mother's room was clean, neat, and well taken care of. It was a nice-looking building with nice, big windows. It was pretty. I didn't ever have to pay for anything there, so I have no idea about its value for money."

"My Father was at Senior Care for rehab for several months and just left in March 2017. The staff was always friendly and genuinely seemed to care about his well being. Their physical therapy department was also good and the therapists cared about him and his progress. Another good thing about their PT was that the other PT patients encouraged one another each day and became friends. The dining room was bright and welcoming and they actually had really good food, Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Senior Care to anyone needing a place to rehab. "

"My mom was sent off to multiple rehabilitation centers including the hospital after brain surgery and multiple problems she couldn't walk talk her hands were swollen balls she couldn't eat drink her favorite drinks she was lonely ... and I believe other locations neglected my mother . I came here and THIS place and THESE workers are amazing 👏 2 lovely women talk and joke with my mom she looks amazing they spoke with me about all the work they've done and time they spent with her they are just simple workers at a nursing home but these amazing bright people including the older man have brought life back in my mom's soul and I thank every one of these workers for what they've done. I appreciate this place and the care put into the patients here this is really a loving place and for you to have only 1 star is saddening not many people see the effort you all put into what you do . So I'll gladly step forward and say what I think needs to be said "

"My father-in-law has been in Advanced Rehabilitation And Healthcare Of Wichita. The place was good, clean and well put together. The staff and services were awesome. It was a very nice facility and the food was good. The physical therapy was really good. The rooms were big and spacious."

"My husband was at University Park in Wichita Falls for a couple of weeks. He was in long-term care, and our experience was very positive. The staff was very helpful and very supportive. It was a very nice stay. We only left because he got a bed closer to home here in Lawton. I didn't see his room. I visited with him in the lobby. The layout was fine, and it looked like an older building, but it's been kept up well. It was clean, there were no odors, and the residents there seemed happy for the most part. It was a good facility, and I would recommend it. I didn't eat anything there, but he didn't complain about the food. The lobby had a television, a sofa, and a small table with a couple of chairs. I didn't see the dining room, but the lobby was sufficient and clean. They had an ice-cream party for the residents when I was there. That's the only activity I saw because I was only there two different times before he was transferred. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Everyone was friendly. They did the appropriate screenings for COVID, they had visitors sign in, and everyone was wearing a mask."
