Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital

My mother-in-law was in Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. I'm glad that they put up with her given her attitude. The layout of the place was good, the staff was good, and the food was delicious. I got to eat lunch with her every day, they had a great cafeteria for families and friends that were visiting. There were two people in a room. They're semi-private, but big enough, and you weren't cramped in there. The facility itself was clean, it was spotless. Almost everybody, including my mother-in-law, had three hours of rehab a day, one was occupational therapy, there was physical therapy, and then speech therapy. The staff was caring and took care of her even when she was being mean to them. They were knowledgeable and nice.

My mother had been at Encompass. Every once in a while she had skilled nursing there, but it was mostly rehab. It was excellent. We have always liked it. The staff members were very kind. They were caring, they interacted with you in a great personable manner, and they were thoughtful. They were great, lovely people. My mother's room was clean, neat, and well taken care of. It was a nice-looking building with nice, big windows. It was pretty. I didn't ever have to pay for anything there, so I have no idea about its value for money.
