My mom was sent off to multiple rehabilitation centers including the hospital after brain surgery and multiple problems she couldn't walk talk her hands were swollen balls she couldn't eat drink her favorite drinks she was lonely ... and I believe other locations neglected my mother . I came here and THIS place and THESE workers are amazing 👏 2 lovely women talk and joke with my mom she looks amazing they spoke with me about all the work they've done and time they spent with her they are just simple workers at a nursing home but these amazing bright people including the older man have brought life back in my mom's soul and I thank every one of these workers for what they've done. I appreciate this place and the care put into the patients here this is really a loving place and for you to have only 1 star is saddening not many people see the effort you all put into what you do . So I'll gladly step forward and say what I think needs to be said

i have been to four nursing homes in the texoma area as a resident. they all suffered from problems of understaffing, poor pay for what staff they had, and indifference to their residents. This one takes the cake. One shopping trip weekly, no outside activities other than smoking (5 times daily in a locked and barred smoking pen), and a non-resident is required to sign residents out and in. It is my understanding that the administrator has three other "care" facilities so the money must be good.

Courtyard Gardens has to be one of the shabbiest assisted living facilities I have ever seen. My aunt was a resident there for about 3 weeks. Not being able to leave her bed, she was completely dependent on the staff there. There would be mornings I would stop by to take her breakfast and check on her and she would still be in her pajamas and a wet brief from the night before. I would complain to the staff and they would always assure me that she would be taken care of right away so I would leave, go to work and stop back by after I would get off. There she would be still lying in bed, in the same clothes, same brief, soaked with urine from her legs up to her neck. The staff there was lazy, the administrators would do nothing about it, and the nurses could not even tell me if my aunt had been receiving her medication on time or not. I would not put a complete stranger in that place let alone another family member.
