"My mother has been a resident since March 2019. I have been very pleased with her care and service and attention to her needs and our family needs, as well. The staff knows her and our family by name. Mother loves every one of them. I am so pleased that we have been blessed to have them!"

"This facility has very nice staff, the nurses are friendly and treat the residents with respect. The facility was clean. The residents appeared to be well taken care of and the nurse call lights were answered in a timely manner. There are activities for the residents to participate in and the meals that are served looked well prepared. My friend's mother was there for only a short while after having surgery, but she did not seem uncomfortable while she was there. There was an outside lab that came in to draw routine lab work and doctors were there making rounds and seeing to patients both times I visited this facility. I did not once see a resident that appeared to be uncomfortable or in pain, and the nurses were constantly checking on them several times an hour. The skilled unit was staffed well and I saw physical therapists there helping to keep bedridden residents from getting stiff by helping them do exercises to keep their muscles from wasting away. "

"Lake Way Nursing Rehab Center (2607 Main Street) had large rooms, and they were really elegant. They had a lovely dining area. They had activities like bingo and crafts. It was next to a golf course, and it was located in a nice place. "

"My brother-in-law is now in Mills Manor (Mills Health and Rehab Center). We were only able to see the outside of the facility because of COVID. This is the second time that he has been there. The staff is very caring. The first time they worked with him, he was able to come along pretty quickly. This time, it's not so quickly. Now, they do weekly meetings and phone meetings to talk about him, which I like, because they tell me how he's progressing or digressing, whatever the case is. The staff is just wonderful there. Back then, they managed to get a weight on him, and he could walk. They really worked with him. However, this time, he is not eating and stuff. It's not that the staff is not working with him, it's just that he doesn't want to do things. The reason that we put him in the Mills Health and Rehab was because we thought that with his dementia, he might remember some of the people there or be familiar with the building itself inside. He does not participate in activities because he's only doing physical therapy and speech therapy."

"My grandmother is at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center, and it's been pretty good. We haven't had any complaints. It's very clean. Her room is always clean. Some of these communities can have a little smell, but I don't ever smell anything when I walk in. They do a pretty good job of keeping it clean, considering they've got several people there. They are super nice. They do everything we ask, and they address all of our questions immediately. They're really good. They do need some more CNAs, but I think everywhere is understaffed. I've never eaten that, and my grandmother doesn't like it. But she's also on a special diet for her heart, and her food has to be pureed. I think community food probably isn't the best, but I don't think it's as bad as she makes it sound because she's used to salt and grease and butter."

"Upon first walking in there were several residents on the patio area, with no staff supervision. The hallways are reasonably clean but the wings are pretty noisy due to some of the residents outbursts. The patient rooms are also clean. There seems to be not quite enough staff. Another visitor that was there at the time we were commented on how long it had taken the CNA to come to the room when the call button was pressed. My friend's grandmother shares a room with another patient. The roomate is in far worse condition than friend's grandmother. This makes the grandmother lonely at times as the lady in the room with her just sleeps, mostly, while grandmother is still pretty spry and lucid for her advanced age. I think they could do better in matching up roomates. All in all, I don't think it's a horrible facility, but since it is paid for by Medicare it has very sparse amenities and appears to be understaffed. The patients do appear to be well cared for. There is no odor and the food looked surprisingly edible. "
