I’ve had a very positive experience with this nursing home. The facility is always clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s clear that the workers genuinely care about the residents—everyone is always smiling and approachable. I feel at ease knowing my loved one is in such a well-maintained and compassionate environment. Highly recommend!

The facility is very clean and the rehab program is great. Staff were attentive and the discharge planning process was very smooth. All questions and concerns were answered and addressed. We were kept informed of our loved one's progress throughout her stay and were assisted in each step of preparing for her to return home.

This skilled nursing facility truly stands out for its compassionate care and professionalism. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel welcomed and valued, treating residents with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness. The environment is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, creating a sense of safety and peace of mind. What impressed me most was the attention to individual needs—every resident is cared for as a person, not just a patient. It’s clear that this facility is committed to excellence, and it shows in every interaction. Highly recommended.

If you’re ever searching for a place to put your love one, please don’t go by the initial tour. I highly recommend that everyone stay away from The Waters, it hasn’t lived up to the expectations we first had. There’s something bad always goes on with my mom. I’m just trying to help others so they don’t have to deal with the problems we having.

The facility is really short staffed, the quality of care is sub standard on the night shift, the facility is very smelly and the rooms are cramped for two patients. The beds are never made and mom is never clean and not dressed well. One day she was in the dinning area in her night gown way past 9 in the morning. We have addressed our concerns at least three times but things have just continue to get worse. Met with two administrators today, so hopefully the issues will be addressed. The care for our mother isn’t the quantity it once was and no excuse about the issues I have stated. Evidently, the management staff hasn’t discussed my concerns. I had a lady who is filling in for the director of nursing the next two days asking about what concerns I had. In the meantime, the assistant director of nursing was just sitting there and knows my concerns. Why didn’t she discuss the concerns with her? I wasn’t going to go thru all the concerns again with a person who doesn’t even work there, when the assistant director that was in the meeting I had could have advise her. I can’t even visit my mother without something happening up there. The home office needs to make a trip to McKenzie to get things corrected. This place is totally different than it use to be and way under staffed.
