My sister is in the long-term care section of Paris Health Care Nursing & Rehabilitation. We chose this place for her because this is the only facility in our area that accepts private pay and assists you, once the money is paid, with Medicaid, so she would not have to change facility again. She has a private room, but she shares the bathroom with another room. There are two rooms attached to each bathroom, which is fine. The place itself is very nice and clean. It’s good that they always have a staff to assist her with her needs like getting out of bed or getting in the bathroom. I would say that their food is normal to good for a facility like that. They have a lot of activities too, but my sister's health prevents her from joining them. However, they are very interested in keeping the residents active and interacting with each other.
