Arbor Place of Puryear

At the time that we went to Arbor Place of Puryear, we weren't able to look right inside because they had active cases of Covid. They didn't let us in as far as walking around and all we were able to do was just go right inside in the lobby area. We didn't get to see any rooms or anything. It was not very big. It's an older place, and it's way out of our price range for what it is. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. She was able to answer questions that we asked. The reason we were looking at this facility was that, at that time, my mom's brother lived right down the street. Also, it's only 10 minutes away from my husband and I, so it would have been very convenient. My mom would have been in the waiting list, but the staff said it could take anywhere from six months or longer. It is a nursing home, so you have to share a room. The building was very clean and well kept. They had a nice patio area. Because of where the land it's on, there's not a lot of shade around, so that was disappointing. There were no outside structures to get in and out of the sun, but overall, the outside was very nice.
