"Cornerstone Village is a little older, and it’s a clean facility. They had a friendly staff, very nice rooms and apartments, and a very nice dining area, and it was the largest of the five that I visited. They gave me a lunch, and it was fine. They had some scheduled visits and events. It was the only one out of a bunch where every apartment had an exit to a patio area. There was an entry from a hallway, but at the end of the living area, there was a door to a large patio area shared by several other apartments, and it was very nice. "

"Everything is excellent at River Oaks Retirement Manor. Mom is in a private room which we are very happy about. It is designed with a little kitchenette which is nice once she starts to become more mobilized. The staff are excellent. The food has been very good. Overall, the family is very satisfied with this facility. They have been very attentive. They are taking care and helping mom any way that they can. She is very comfortable and happy. I would absolutely recommend this facility. They have patios. They have a large common area where people can stay, play cards, or watch TV. "

"This is nursing home/assisted living facility that is maintain mostly by retired nuns. The nursing and care facility is very well kept and the certified nursing assistants adhere to a strict policy when it comes to taking care of the residentd here. Many of the residents here all also retired nuns that merely cannot care for themselves. With that being said, the staff and the residents usually a familiar with one another prior to the resident being admitted to the facility. Also the staff at this facility is aged and can be quite set in there ways when it comes to healthcare. On the down side, the rooms are for a single resident but are very small and difficult to maneuver through when needed. "

"I visited a family member in St. Agnes Healthcare And Rehab Center. His stay there was excellent. The room was well-kept, and the care was good. The grounds were beautiful. I love the flowers. The yard was really well-kept."

"I had an aunt in Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation - Franklin 2 years ago. The staff was very caring. They treated her like family, and she loved them. She loved being there. The facilities were very clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. She received excellent care there. There was a lady that came in who was a hair stylist. She offered haircuts and styles to the residents. There was an outside seating for them as well. I don't know if you'd call it a courtyard, but they have it. My aunt enjoyed their food. They were on top of making sure everything was maintained. The staff was really committed and really good."

"My mom was pretty happy to be in this facility. Her mom was a past resident too on this facility and she mostly know the people before she went in there. She went and visited there regularly before. Its a Catholic facility, and my mom was a very religious person. It's a nice thing because the priests go there every Wednesday for a Mass. She's still on the adjustment person but she's happy and satisfied. "

"My grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer and had to undergo a lobectomy. After surgery she could not return to her own home because of the post-op care she needed. She was also on oxygen for quite a while and because her home had propane gas, there was a danger there. It was safest for her to be in a facility that could administer her medications and provide continuous nursing care around the clock while allowing her the independence she still sought. She recovered wonderfully from this surgery and was given the ok to go back home. She decided that it was in her best interest to stay in the nursing home. She had friends there and enjoyed the daily activities. The nursing staff became like family to her and to all of us. She enjoyed the food and the time that the nurses and staff actually took to talk to her and listen to her. The nursing home is extremely clean and does not have that normal hospital/antiseptic smell. When you first walk in you get a full view of the dining room which was always in perfect condition. The floors and public restrooms were always clean. My grandmother's room was cleaned daily and was always in perfect condition. She ended up having a recurrence of the same cancer and after surgery went back to the nursing home until the day that she died. This nursing home provided exactly what every nursing home should-dignity and respect in one's final days. I will never forget the treatment that she received there and I will forever be grateful for the care and compassion she received in the last years of her life. "
