My mom is a resident at River Oaks Retirement Manor. I'm very impressed with it. It is an older place, but it is very well maintained and well cared for. I'm also impressed with the staff. They are superb. From the staff who cleans the room, the people who do the therapy, the nurses to CNAs, they are all very diligent and appear to be devoted. I have yet to encounter anyone who has not been fully up to the task. The food is definitely a plus. My mom has gone from pureed diet back to solid diet within the last week or so, but with the two or three meals I had eaten with her, I was very impressed with the food. For activities, they'll have group therapy where they throw a ball around and some bingo. Mother's Day was very nicely done with live entertainment.

Everything is excellent at River Oaks Retirement Manor. Mom is in a private room which we are very happy about. It is designed with a little kitchenette which is nice once she starts to become more mobilized. The staff are excellent. The food has been very good. Overall, the family is very satisfied with this facility. They have been very attentive. They are taking care and helping mom any way that they can. She is very comfortable and happy. I would absolutely recommend this facility. They have patios. They have a large common area where people can stay, play cards, or watch TV.
