"Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation was very good. I liked it a lot. The physical therapy was great. They were very helpful and caring and I felt well cared for. It helped me get on track and get back home. The nursing care was good, and the personnel were good. My room was wonderful. It was a double room, but it was large enough so it felt like a private room. I was not sharing a closet or anything else with anybody else. There was another patient adjacent to me in another room. We shared the bathroom, but she was bedridden, so I had a private bathroom. That was the second time I was there. They had a lot of activities, but I didn't do that much. I know there was a movie every Sunday, and they had ice cream every Monday and Wednesday. The food was pretty good. I liked it. We went to bingo once, but they had other activities during the week."

"I went to Prairieview Lutheran Home. Everything was so bright. The hallways were wide. The staff members were very caring individuals. You could tell that the people there were happy. When I walked in there, I was like, 'Wow, this is amazing.' In talking with some of the staff members, they work there because they want to, and not because it's just a job. They want to be there."

We had a meeting with them where they told us their care plan and explained everything, so we thought they were very good. We liked them and the facility. "I've been to BRIA of Chicago Heights. It was nice. It was welcoming. They explained a lot of things about the place. They were getting some events ready for the residents. When I went, they were playing some music for them, and they were doing little activities. It was okay. It was clean. The workers were doing their job taking care of the residents. The residents looked clean. The staff spoke to me, and they greeted me."
