The Legacy Place's apartments were really clean and a nice size. The staff was excellent. I probably can't say enough for the place. It was really, really nice. They had everything that a person would need moving on. It was just a really great place. The meals were furnished. They had light housekeeping. They had a nice rec area where they can go and have family come in and do activities. They can give you your meds, which we didn't need at this time. They had a beauty salon available, and they had a small workout area. They would also furnish rides to appointments within the Valley City area. The staff member who gave the tour was Nancy, and she was really friendly, very willing to help with anything that you needed. She's just an excellent person.

I toured The Legacy Place. It seemed like it was homey and comfortable. There were two gals that walked around with me, they were very knowledgeable, and friendly. Anything I needed to know or wanted to know they answered. I looked at three different-sized apartments, and they were all comfortable size, and they were all nice. I can't say anything bad about any of them. The dining area was an open area. It was a nice area for people to sit and visit, play cards, and eat. The courtyard was really nice. They were in the middle of the building. It was like in a big square, like a figure eight type thing, and they were in the middle. They were just moving their outdoor furniture out, and it was all cemented. It was pretty and it was nice out there. They were going to be planting flowers, the staff said, as soon as it warmed up. So I can see that'd be really inviting in the summertime.

My parents live at The Legacy Place and love it! What's to not love? They cook and clean and do all the laundry for them. There staff is top notch and I believe they love my parents almost as much as I do. They serve three complete meals cooked onsite daily. Each resident gets private room with a good sized bedroom (fits a queen bed, nightstands and dresser) a living area big enough for a TV, couch and LazyBoy... maybe more. There is also a small kitchen (ette) with microwave and small fridge (provided). Nice sized walk through closet to the spacious private bathroom. Access to quality activities, a heated therapeutic salt water pool, weekly religious services. Use of a large community room or courtyard as well. I couldn't imagine them anywhere else.
