There are so many things wrong with this facility and staff. You have so many people working there that shouldn't even have been hired. Cleaning needs a huge boost. The help takes too long to answer the patients buzzers. The occupational and physical therapy staff is another. Staff cursing in the halls and talking about patients where the patients can hear. Not much kindness towards senior citizens. Rooms not all that clean. Meals need improvement and if at all possible never send a loved one there. Patients sitting around anywhere in wheelchairs asleep inside of in bed until it gets extremely cluttered. I know of patients that were tired, wanted to go to bed but we're not allowed to do so. Attitudes are very nonchalant when it comes to patients. There needs to be a complete investigation into nursing homes because every seniors that needs to go to rehab or nursing homes needs the best care and utmost respect because with age, they have earned it. Make sure you have the qualified staff to handle the number of residents you accept.

My family member was left for over 3 hours in a wheelchair with poop on her until she was in tears and finally was able to get a family member on the phone... she is unable to move on her own, speak, or get help. Thankfully we provided her with a dial by pic phone that allows her to video us so we can read her face and know something was wrong. THIS is just one instance where care is unacceptable.

The physical therapy I received at this facility was a blessing to me! My rehabilitation was to recover from a broken femur. I regained strength and independence during my stay at Brian Center. The large room allowed me maneuver easily in my wheelchair. The sidewalks and beautiful setting allowed me to be outside and enjoy the beautiful setting. I am thankful for my temporary stay at Brian Center.
