I toured Cypress Glen Retirement Community. The people who lived there were treated like pure gold. Every employee was kind, interested, helpful, and amazing. The facility itself is beautiful. It's beautifully kept and clean. Anything the resident wants, the resident gets. They serve you with white tablecloths, and you can have anything. If you don't like what you have, you can get something else. The food was delicious.

I went to Cypress Glen Retirement Community. It has some nature, trees, and things like that around it. It's a place where you can get out and walk and enjoy nature a little bit. That's what I was looking for. They have different layouts, but I did find one. One thing I didn't like is that if you got two bedrooms, they had two baths, so you couldn't get one without two baths unless you just had one room. I just wanted a room in case I had guests, or family comes in, but I didn't want two bathrooms with a two-bedroom. They have a bedroom and den which I very much like. Some of the rooms were rather small. The first time I visited Cypress Glen, they gave me some blueberry muffins when I left. I appreciated that, it was good. They showed me one room, which I appreciated the last time I went, one that had furniture in it. And that helps you decide where I can put my furniture in there and still look good, it won't be too crowded. So I like that. I like it because I know some people there, and that's the drawing card. I already know some people there. They have a regular dining room, then they have a cafe-like place to eat. And I did go through the cafe and they nodded and said hello to me. Other than that, I didn't meet any staff. It looked clean. It looks like it is kept up well. They have a lot of things to offer, which I like, and a lot of activities going on, which suits me because I'm a person who stays busy. They just had about everything I would want except for a garden, maybe a flower garden to look after, which I have at home.

Cypress Glen Retirement Community is awesome. It's one of those places that you bought into and paid for. They've got cottages, they've got apartments, and they have a medical facility if needed. I've known about them for many years and I have never heard anything bad. One of my coworkers lived there and I went to visit her. They have all levels. It's like cottages where you live completely on your own, you can have your own car and everything else. Then if you want a little bit more care or somebody just checking on you, they've got apartments. And then if you need it, they've got the medical wing, instead of going to the hospital, you can be there. They have a lot of facilities, there are homes, apartments, big buildings. I have seen my friend go to the activities. They provide transportation out to shopping centers and restaurants, and I've seen her out doing things like that. It's expensive and what you get is high-quality care.
