The Farrar Home was probably the best place. It's amazing. My dad went there. They had round-the-clock nurses and all kinds of activities. They had culinary art students who did all the cooking. It was just beautiful. They just wouldn't take my mother-in-law because she is blind. Their food was delicious and they offer everything. They'll shower you if you can't do it on your own. They have laundry service, garbage service, and lots of entertainment. They do something every day. Just so much to say about it. It's just a great place.

Absolutely wonderful! While the other review comments on the condition of the walls? I'd like to add that while there might be a couple of cracks here and there ( the building is from 1900 ), it's a grand mansion with a modern wing and absolutely spotless ... We looked at a lot of facilities for my mom -and this outweighed every single one.

All in all, the facility meets my relative's requirements. There is plenty of space, but the condition of some of the walls left much to be desired. Cleanliness is also a little issue, but the cable television available is great. The Malone area in general is nice, so the location is good. The 4th of July event coming up sounds terrific and my relative is excited. Again, this is a nice facility with minor issues that are holding back a higher rating. I'm sure these will be fixed however, and this facility should be recommended to others. That's why I give it three stars.
