My sister is situated at The Alice Center - Assisted Living. She is in their assisted living, but they also have a nursing home area and a dementia area. The hospital is down the road. It's actually very convenient. Actually, they were the only ones willing to take her with the money that she made. We're very happy with it. She has a good-sized room with a little kitchen sink, cupboards, and a bathroom. It's a one-room that has a bed, a recliner, a dresser, and a closet. They keep it clean, which is a big thing for her because she's such a fussy person. She is always on the go. They have activities going on. They have yoga, cards, and table bowling. They keep her going all the time. We call her, and we're lucky if 1 out of 10 times she will answer because she's in the room. I have not tried their food, but she seems to like it. She is gaining back a few more pounds that she lost. She really has never complained about it. She says it's good. She likes the people, and she just says, "It's not home yet." I said, "Well, you have got to give it time." That's the only complaint she has. I like all of the staff members. They're all great. They're involved with them, and they also involve us. They're easy to talk to. They're very helpful and very friendly.
