Transit Pointe Senior Apartments is a very nice place. It's pretty easy to find; it's set back from the road. It's a pretty big place. I have a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the washer and dryer are in the same little area. So that was very nice for me. I can't say anything bad about the place. It's just that I believe that I am going to need a little bit more help, and they are really, truly, truly independent here. I'm responsible for my own food, so I do my own cooking. So it really is independent. The staff is good, but they're very short-handed. They have something going on all the time. They have mass, they get together to color, and they get together a couple of times a week to have coffee from 9:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon. There's always something going on. They have a monthly dinner that you can sign up for. It's $20 per person, and it's catered and brought in. They play bingo on Monday night. It's a very active group. They have a garden club. They're really good.

We really liked Transit Pointe as they have a lot of activities for people to do. They were very kind to everybody there. You could really see that they took good care of people. The apartments were super clean and very nice. They were very old people but still kicking. The food was fine; they even had chefs. They have the list of activities in the community room and they had a lot of things to do. The only negative thing was the price. It was a little high.
