My wife is at Rio Rancho Care and Rehabilitation Center. My experience with it is challenging, but it is accomplishing its tasks. If my wife weren't as picky and grumpy as she can be, it would probably be a lot better. I've never been past the front door and they won't let me in due to COVID measures. The doctors, the wound care nurse, and the head of nursing are good. They're not fantastic, but it could be worse. The staff seems to be good enough, but they are horrible when it comes to communicating with my wife's caregiver, which is me. It's as if they all hide behind this Covid curtain and that's when the CNAs in particular seem to think they can get away with whatever they feel like. Their communication skills are horrible. It looks good on the outside and the inside. It's a nice place, but you need to have people that allow it to do its full function.
