My mother lived here from 2012 until her passing Dec 2020. I like to say I visited often , but I can’t. I do know that every time I busted her she was well cared for. Moving my mother to assisted living was difficult, but once she got here I knew she would be ok. She lived out her life with dignity in a safe and loving environment.

Home- like friendly, cheerful place with attentive staff, rooms are cozy, uniquely individual,. Residents spend most of their time in community areas enjoying different activities together like planning a garden, listening to oldies but goodies, discussing current events, playing games, exercising, etc. In the warmer weather they gather outside in the beautiful backyard.

Bryan Manor is an older community. Everybody was on the second floor and they only had a very small elevator, and a comment was made like, "Oh, when the elevator works." So I asked what happens when there's a fire or other emergency, and even in their paperwork it said that in case of an emergency, you have to get out on your own. They also said that they would help the residents out in case of a fire, but I asked them to write it down in black and white. It was a little unnerving, and that's really what got me. The staff and the two ladies that run the place were very nice. It's not a spacious or open place, it's small because it was an old house that was being renovated. The rooms were OK, they were small but all right. The majority of the residents that I saw there were in wheelchairs, so I was concerned about the safety.

We chose Bryan Manor because it came recommended to me and my mom had a friend there. The rooms are comfortable and look clean. It’s an older but well maintained facility. My mom has dementia, so she does not complain about anything.
