"The rooms at Spring Oak were nice and large. They had a one-bedroom with a bedroom and a living room. My father was going to have a private room, but they didn't have the care for him. They had a lot of different activities every day. The memory care unit had their own dining hall and little kitchen. They had activities going on all through the day and trips. It was a nice facility. I would like him to be there, but it didn't work out that way."

"From the moment I drove past Juniper Village I knew I had to pull in and see it for myself. It is a beautiful building and gorgeously landscaped, but it still felt like I was pulling up to a home, not a facility. There is something about the hanging flower baskets and wooden rocking chairs on the porch that make you feel welcome, in fact invited. After I greeted the smiling faces around me, reading papers and working on needle points I stepped inside. It was not at all anything less than I had imagined, which is rather hard to find these days. The walls were covered in an elegant yet warm colored wall paper, with sconces and pictures lighting the halls. The carpet wasn't linoleum, it was carpet in a facility. I was immediately rushed with staff who all dotted smiling faces and outreaching hands asking if there was anything, anything at all they could help me with. I had literally walked in off the streets and they were acting as if I were some long lost cousin they had finally been reunited with. For me, the magnificent facility says a lot but it certainly doesn't say it all. For me it was those faces, those faces of happiness and contempt rocking on the chairs on the porch that I will never forget. "

"I visited Juniper Village at Washington Square and toured their assisted living. It was lovely, but the rooms were on the second and third floors and my brother did not like that. He wanted to be on the ground floor. The place was beautiful, though. The food was wonderful and everybody was very pleasant. All the rooms we saw were very nice, too. The staff who assisted us was pleasant. They have a lot of activities. They take groups out to places, there's a place to play cards, and there's a little coffee kitchen with different kinds of coffee. It's lovely. They served me a meal, which was wonderful. It was like going to a restaurant."

"We toured Traditions of Cross Keys. We like the setup. The rooms were spacious. We never got to go into the kitchen area, but it looked nice from the doorway. People were friendly. They had a kitchenette area but there was no furniture in the rooms. The person who took me around was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lot in common with her, so we chatted with her for quite some time. Everything was clean, too. They have a garden center in the middle with chairs and stuff for them to sit outside."

"I liked Cardinal Village. The rooms could have been a little bigger, but it was laid out well. The people were friendly. The place seemed clean and well kept. The dining area seemed fine. It was a smaller community with activities. "

"We went to see All American at Washington Township and looked at their assisted living. I would say it's nice. The person who accommodated me was very informative, answered all our questions, and showed us all the areas in the facility. The room was bigger than I expected. The was no furniture there, it was just an empty room, but it was a decent size. It was clean and had a nice-sized bathroom. There wasn't anybody dining in the dining area when we saw it, but it was a decent-sized dining room. We saw a screening room where they were watching a movie. There was also an art room where they were doing art projects. In the common area they were playing music for the residents."

"My mother is now in a nursing home and doing quite well. She is at St. Mary's Catholic Home. We transferred her there because it is close to the family. She has excellent care there. She is in a semi-private room and it has one bathroom. They have an excellent rehab program and she has made tremendous progress. They have a nice dining room. They have excellent food there. They have plenty of activities. They have daily Mass and rosary. Then they have bingo, they have musicians come in and they throw birthday parties. They have outside activities in the gazebo. They have quizzes and movie nights. Everyday there is like four or five different things. The facility is in the beautiful residential neighborhood. There are plenty of grounds to walk around. It is quite a large facility with different buildings depending on the need. My mother's nursing care is excellent. She has an assigned aide for each shift. It is nice because they get to know the patient. All in all I would give this place a 5-star rating because of their quality and consistency of care. The staff is very friendly. The administrative staff is friendly and very helpful. "

"This is the third time unfortunately we have to use a rehab service .my family is happy to say the amount of attantion we've recieved over the stay was a lot more then any other place. We had a minor concern and spoke with social services and was right away contacted by administrator to resolve the concern. Food was by far better than any of the other places in the area. "

"I was at Seashore Gardens Living Center for rehab, and I was pleased with the time that I spent there. One of my first observations was that the staff was courteous. They did not say, "OK, it's time to go and do this;" instead they would say, "Would you like to do this?" and that courteousness was shown in all that they did. I received physical therapy and occupational therapy, and I left there feeling that I was in better shape than when I went in. Also, their social services people were helping me to get additional aid at home for home care and possibly get Medicaid. I was there for two weeks and in the first two weeks, we were in the quarantine service. The room was good, and they're very particular about cleaning and taking care of things. The food wasn't the best, but it was good. The grounds were nice at all times. Occasionally, I would have a service to take me outside to do therapy if the weather was nice. It's a lovely place. They have an area called the boardwalk, which has been closed for a while because of the pandemic, and it's a place where you can get some takeout food. There's also a gift shop and a park with an aviary. At one point, I heard somebody playing the piano, and a bunch of people were getting together for that. So, it was lovely. The therapist would come in and play games with you while they were doing the therapy, but as far as things to do in between therapy sessions, there was pretty much just a television and whatever you bring with you, like a book or something like that."

"My husband is enrolled at the Senior Care Galloway facility. He suffers from dementia/Alzheimer's. I am very pleased with their care & concern for their patients. They are very kind, knowledgeable and interested in the welfare of their patients. My husband waits in the morning to be picked up by his driver and enjoys going to the facility. It gives him a purpose whereby he would be very bored at home and just pacing. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asked me.
