My husband did a partial daycare, but only for a day at Benton House of Staley Hills. They were quite friendly and knowledgeable. He was in memory care. He didn't have a room because he was just going and coming for a few hours. He was able to use the community area. They had a suite kitchenette for all the patients, and they had lunch in that little area. To me, it seemed so new and very well-kept. Because it was together, it seemed more like a home, and yet, the people could be facilitated. There is enough space to walk. However, they said he seemed to be on a higher level than the other people in the memory unit, so it was not a good fit for him. So that's why I've decided to do home care. The layout of the home is gorgeous, and it is quite beautiful. In their patio, they were growing tomatoes and peppers and things like that for the patients to use, and even that was so inviting. That was very, very sweet. Plus, it was the closest to home, which is another reason why I chose it. It's a daycare facility as well as a long-term facility. It was beautiful, and the people were friendly. The few that I saw and that interviewed me were lovely people. I peeked into the rooms, and they were spacious, and they had enough room in them.
