I live in Collierville, TN. My mother is 84 and has been to Golden Living Nursing Home in Amory, MS, my home town. We need to move her closer to me. The price of her private room doubled and we can no longer afford to pay the difference. She has Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Cross. My mother qualified in the Diversion Program of Medicaid and is now in an assisted living facility. However, I am looking at other options. Mom moved into her community and she loves it there. She thinks the staff is terrific, very conscientious, helpful and warm. I haven't heard her that happy in many, many years. I don't know if I would have even looked at this community if it weren't for your suggestions and help with the process, including the financial advice. But I had to move her near my place. It's been a great journey for mom to stay in Golden Living Center.

Our love one did not receive the proper care at Golden Living. In my opinion, the facility is poorly managed and they do not have a system in place to provide their residents with good care. Enter at your own risk!

It was crowded for the size of the place. they said they could hold over a hundred and fifty beds. To me it seemed like there were too many people crammed in that building, all though the staff was friendly and courteous.I didnt see very many staff members, but all the people looked to be in good shape. They just seemed under staffed. Didnt see any activities for the people there either. I wouldnt recomend this place.
