This place is horrible. My mother was treated so badly there it broke my heart. I thankfully was able to move her to a different facility, but it was a terrible experience. One day they wheeled her into the dining room for breakfast and left her sitting there all day until I came to visit and found her. Her room always averaged about 90 degrees. Most days they never even got her out of bed or dressed. They ignored her doctor’s written orders for PT. I don’t even know if that is legal. Most all their staff is agency. It’s different people working there everyday and no one knows what is going on. When I went to take her out of there she didn’t even have her boot on her broken ankle. I never saw a nurse, or a social worker, I didn’t sign any discharge papers, I just took her and left. I can’t believe they can stay open operating like that.

My father is in Cerenity Care Center - White Bear Lake. It's good to better than average. They're very attentive and very tidy. The food is pretty good. They treat him pretty well there. His physical therapy and everything is working well. The facility itself is very nice, and the staff is good.

My brother was placed at Cerenity Care Center. It was fine. It was a nice place. The nurses were very nice. The staff was fine. The dining room looked nice. The rooms were nice. They looked clean and updated. They did have activities, but my brother didn't really partake. The facility seemed well secured. However, we weren't happy there. They only gave us a 48-hour notice for my brother to leave, so we weren't happy with that. It was a nice place, but they weren't very understanding that we had no place for him to go in 48 hours.

My mom has Alzheimer's and she's in Serenity Care. I checked them out a few years ago when I was looking at some of the nursing homes and that's the one we liked best because it was neither too big nor too small. The staff were also nice and friendly.
