Oakcrest assisted living is a wonderful place to live. As you approach the building from the road, it is situated with a gold course around it. The view from many of the rooms overlooks this beautifully kept gold course. As you enter the Oakcrest building, the interior is striking and has a scandinavian design to it. This is very fitting as many of the residents here are of Scandinavian roots. The residents rooms are spacious, and allow for a certain amount of their own furniture to be brought from their home, if they wish. Oakcrest has an Rn there on most days and nurses aides that will set up medications, arrange Dr's visits, do housekeeping, laundry and personal cares, if the resident requests it. There are 3 lounge areas with flat screen tv's and a library, all tastefully decorated and relaxing.the residents enjoy watching movies at the weekends, together. The dining area is very spacious and the food is amazing. Residents are able to invite their guests for a meal too. Oakcrest has an activities director who organizes fun events and there is a bus available to take residents out. Oakcrest is a great social community all under one roof!
