One year ago this past Thanksgiving - my Mother passed away. Three months before this we heard about Elim Oasis and thought it would be good for our Mom and give our step-father a much needed break. It was like God had planted the seed. The employees were so good and so kind. It gave Mom great pleasure and the day before her last visit they had her paint it was like seeing a glimpse of our old Mom who loved her flowers, family , crafts , cooking you name it she did it. Before she got alzheimers she taught my step-dad to cook, bake, make jam and be a care giver. This is one of the most wonderful things they came up with it gives everyone a break and still keep them at home. Please check it out if you need a good and safe place for a loved one to go.
