Marquette County Medical Care Facility is the perfect place for my mother. They have everything she needs and it's close to my home. The staff is wonderful and caring. They care about their patients. The rooms are spacious. There's plenty of room for any personal items. It's just perfect for her and me to be able to visit. They have bingo, a salon where she can get her nails or hair done, they play games, make new friends, just a lot of things. The facility is beautiful.

I visited my relative at Marquette County Medical Care Facility. I like what they do for the seniors. They have entertainment coming in, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and bingo, and they keep them active if they want to be active.

I found the facilities to be well kept for the most part. Customer/family facing areas were clean, and only occasionally cluttered. The staff was very nice, with most greeting you immediately. The residents for the most part were in good spirit, but the ones in rehabilitation therapy could be a little testy. My star rating would have been 4 or 5, if it weren't for the state of the kitchen, storage rooms, and maintenance areas. The kitchen was incredibly dirty, the floors looked as though they had not been mopped in months. The food preparation area was mildly dirty. Overall I wouldn't have turned down food from the kitchen, but I believe a little effort could go a long way. The storage and maintenance areas were very cluttered. I could not navigate through one of the rooms because of how things were thrown about. Overall The facility was good. I would have no problem sending my loved one there if it came down to it, just a little more work and it'd be a 4 or 5 star.
