My brother-in-law will move into Hampton Manor of Holly. The memory care was very nice. It's completely secure. If he wants to go outside, a staff member will assist him. They have a couple of little gardens in which he can walk around, and then the sitting area, where he can go out and sit in the nice weather. He got a nice-sized room because most are just like little suites. You can have your bed on one end, your TV, and your chair on the other end. But the one that they had available for him was a little bit bigger, so we could place the furniture there. It's separate, so you can feel like you have two rooms, but you really only have one larger room. The bathrooms were very, very spacious. They had little wooden places like shelving units where you could put their things in and outside their rooms, so they could recognize which room was theirs if they didn't know them, or if they couldn't remember their room number. They were all friendly. We were on a scheduled tour, so they knew I was coming, but when we went into the memory care, there were two staff members. The one, after I was done, I was looking at the menu and the meal plans that were posted on the wall. She came over and introduced herself, told me what days she worked and the times, and asked if I ever needed anything, just to come and speak to her, which was very nice. Their meals are posted every week, but you select them on Sunday, so if he doesn't like, say, they're having fish and he doesn't want to have fish, then they have alternates that he can take. They're not that big, and I like the fact that there's only 20. I'm not sure about the number that was in there now, but they have a small number there. It's all like one hallway, so the common center is right in the middle, and there's a nice fireplace and a big TV. It's like in the center, so that they're not walking all over looking for something.

The rooms are kept dirty and the caregivers are neglectful. They feed the residents bare minimum.

There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful Hampton Manor of Holly is. The place is beautiful, but even more important is the caring and love shown to my mother. Mom was there three months and 21 days. During that time she went into hospice. The staff and the hospice nurses were so compassionate, kind and loving towards her. We also observed this kind of care when they were taking care of the other residences in memory care. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and that transfers into every area of this facility. Jill, Julie, Ella, Kelly, Jenny, Trisha, Kayla, Kay, Jasmine, Asia, Tenon, Petra, Jennifer, the ladies who lovingly prepared her food, the hospice nurses, were all so professional, compassionate, and kind. Several of them came in on their day off just to hug mom and say their goodbyes. All of them came in for a final hug. We are a big family, there are nine of us, and these sweet people made us feel as if we were in mom’ s house. I think she felt that way as well. I really can’t say enough about the care mom got, it truly was a blessing. I would highly recommend this “home away from home” if you are in a situation where difficult decisions have to be made. You will become family too.

This is a wonderful new facility and it’s very nice. More importantly though, the staff who cared for our mother in her last months were kind and caring and skilled and compassionate. As her time in hospice came to an end, numerous staff came in to see her and several even came by on their day off. Their kindness toward our mother and our family was genuine and we will always be grateful to them!

My mother was in memory care from November until the first week in March. The staff there are wonderful and compassionate. They all took wonderful care of my mother until her passing. At the end of her life, they treated my siblings (All nine of us ) and I with the best comfort and compassion that I have ever seen in a facility such as this. Staff members went out of their way to make sure we were all comfortable during that stressful time. I cannot say enough about how great they are there. God bless them all.

We put a deposit at Hampton Manor of Holly. I'll be at zero level and my husband will be in assisted living. It's nice and brand new. I like the availability of the two-bedroom with a private patio. The staff mermber who toured us was very friendly, very patient, and very warm. It seemed very homey and very comfortable. There's a grocery store, a drug store, and some good restaurants nearby. The dining area is spacious and clean with tablecloths. I met the activity director, and she was bubbly and enthusiastic.

Hampton Manor of Holly was just fantastic. It's a brand-new facility. It's decorated to the hilt. The staff was wonderful. They have courtyards, a beauty salon, and a movie theater. It was nice. The rooms were all one-bedrooms. It's just a beautiful friendly place.
