"Arden Court was also very nice especially for Alzheimer’s patients. The facility itself was very good; my problem is that it’s a little too far away. The rooms seemed to be spacious, staff seemed to be very nice, and the residents were very satisfied. "

"Overlook Green seemed very nice, and the people who work there was very nice. I think the rooms are OK. They're fine. They're kind of like a hotel room, but I guess that's to be expected. I like the location. It's close to South Hills. "

"I went for a tour at Mount Vernon, and the staff was very informative. The place looked nice. Unfortunately, they were a lot older, and my brother-in-law was only 56. Most of these places had elderly people in there, and I was hoping to find something that might have a various age levels. The apartment was fine. We went on the day they had an Easter breakfast with the bunny. It was nice that the head nurse or whatever brought her dogs in every day. They had activities planned, and she showed me the calendar. "

"Harmony at Harts Run is very nice. I'm very satisfied with it. The staff is very nice, and the rooms are very clean. There is plenty of room. I had lunch with my husband one day, and it was very good and very filling. They have two choices for every meal. They also have a gym. He can get a haircut or his toenails cut. There is a nurse that visits him. The facility is very clean and very friendly. It's only like two years old."

"I ride by Paramount everyday. They have assisted living and dementia care. The facility was only three years old. It's new and very clean. Everything was newer in it. It was also very well run. I like the staff. They seemed to be very organized. They did have a nice courtyard. However, I just didn't like the atmosphere. Everything was white. They were like bland and they didn't have any character to it. For activities, at that time, they were just playing some kind of a game in a room. "

"I like it a lot, and that's why we chose it for my dad. He's been there for three days now and there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. Their location is the best, the staff is pleasant, and it is clean. I talked to a few residents and they love it there. It was only a two-year-old facility as well. So far he's had mixed reviews about their food. He said he had some delicious ones, and then not-so-delicious ones. They have all kinds of outings and they have a game room where they play Wii bowling. There's a poker table there too. Every holiday, they have activities going on like Easter egg hunts, and just recently, they had a Cinco de Mayo day and I think they're going to have a dog show where family members could bring their dogs in if they have. Also, they have a little putting green right in the back, and a little bar where you can sit down, play cards, and get a glass of wine or something."

"We toured Brookdale Murrysville. It looked very clean, and the people were friendly. The room was very nice, but the price was higher than what we wanted to pay. The staff was very nice. We just saw people getting ready to do the activities. They were sitting around. We saw the rooms, and they were white and cheery-looking. My sister was a little upset with the woman who took us on the tour. She told us to leave our purses in her office, and then when we came back to tour, she gave her keys to someone. When we went there, the door was open, and our purses were there, and there was somebody in there."

"My mom is at The Haven at North Hills, and she enjoys it. We've had a positive experience, and mom likes the Haven a lot. She said she enjoys the activities and she has made a lot of friends. The staff is very friendly, the room is quite large and very comfortable, and it has its own bathroom. The facility has recently been renovated so it's very clean, and the furniture is all in very good shape. It's a very comfortable accommodation. I have not eaten there but mom says the food is pretty good. There's a common dining area, it's a large room with nice large windows all around it so it brings light from the outside. They have nice-looking facilities. They have daily activities, games, and exercise activities as well. There's a common room on each floor with a TV. It's a high-quality facility, and the people that I've interacted with there have been very nice."

"Orion has provided a personalized care plan for my grandma who began suffering from short term memory loss which is unmatched vs. a larger corporate provider. I am comforted knowing she is being taken care of in the same manner that her family would have provided if they could have. We are so lucky to have found Orion!"

"My mom was at Grand Residence at Upper St Clair. She ended up falling and breaking her nose five times in seven days. It's like a hotel and very nice. I think the staff is good, but my mom wasn't ready for the move, and she may have been reluctant to call them for assistance. Part of that issue was that most of the their assistance were high school kids. I don't have anything bad to say about the people or management. It just didn't work out. I think they are just more catered to people who are not fall-risks than people who are fall-risks. The dining is first class and the food is top-shelf and very good. "

"Arden Courts of North Hills is a secure facility for residents who wander around. They are not allowed to get out of their door because it has an alarm. But they have four different areas, so the residents can walk around and choose what to do. The environment was very welcoming. My mother-in-law was supposed to get a single room there and it looked really nice. We are actually thinking about moving my mother-in-law there because it's more towards making the people with mental problems more comfortable, so all their activities are adapted to those who have Alzheimer's or dementia. "

"My mom moved into Grace Manor at North Park. It's very good and we're very satisfied so far. They have a lot of activities, the place is very clean, the food is good, and the people are very nice. They have singers come in, and they have games and crafts."

"I toured Halcyon at Bridgeville. It was very clean and it's small, which is nice. Everyone seems to know everybody. The staff was wonderful. The coordinator answered every question we had and gave us extra information we didn't think about. Although they still assist with showering, all the meals are included and that's another thing, everything within the pricing was inclusive. They have a doctor that comes in. They do have extras like if you want your salon for an extra charge, but other than that everything is just activities to keep them engaged and help them out."

"I've visited Ashton Commons Senior Living twice. I was checking it out for myself. It's very nice and close to me. I would love to move in there if I were ready. They have independent little cottage homes that are only rented every month. The major building is about 3 or 4 floors. It's just inviting, sophisticated, and beautiful. I only talked to the manager and the sales representative during my visit, and they were very gracious."
