"My younger son and I went to look at D'Vine Home. We like the place. It's nice and clean. My husband is going to be the only male. He will have a room just for himself. The room is clean. It's a medium sized room. It's not huge, and it's not small. It's very nice. I like the cleanliness of everything in there. It wasn't like it was tidied up for the tour. It looked like they spent time cleaning. Although they don't have grass on the outside, it is nice and neat. I like that place. I like the people who manage it, too. It was a neat experience going in and talking to them because they told us things we can do to help financially with him, like where to go and what to do. They were very helpful in that case. We didn't taste any food because they already had lunch when we arrived. They do the meals according to their diet. Most of them are diabetics. My husband and two other people have high blood pressure, so they cook the meals according to their diets. What we like there is that they don't have to eat breakfast all at the same time. My husband is a late riser. They said it's OK because they have some people like that, but no later than 9:30 AM. I did like that. We asked about their activities. They have memory games. Because of their dementia and some of them have Alzheimer's, they cannot play games that are long. The activities are five minutes and sometimes less because they just wander and don't finish the game. They have memory games, and they do this for five minutes. They know when their minds wander, and they're not paying attention so then they stop. They take them outside. They sit outside, and they have picnics outside. The staff who toured us were very helpful and knowledgeable about dementia. They asked the questions about my husband that the other place did not ask. It was good that they know about his behavior, how long he's been behaving like that, if he has escalated, and things like that. It was very important to us. We love that place."

"My mom is now at Valley Crest Memory Care. We chose them because there weren't a whole lot of options around here, and they were the most economical for what they are providing. Prior to that, I didn't know them from anybody else, but since my mom has been there, I have been very happy with the way they treat her and take care of her. They take care of her there - They maintain her medication, they provide a laundry service so that she doesn't have to do everything, they just do everything for her. They also have a nice back area with a bench area where they have a little patio. They have a big dining room. This place is more like a hotel type thing, but it is all internal. My mom likes the food, but she is just not happy with everything they make. However, nobody is really happy with anything that is on the menu like that. Nevertheless, she is happy and satisfied. I have eaten there before when I visited, and the food was fine. "

"I like the setting of it here. It wasn't just a memory care; they have apartments there, and they have assisted living. They also have outside groups that come in. They have a hall that they rent out for weddings and different school functions. They have a lot more activity that was going on -- not necessarily in the memory care unit, but in the facility itself. I have nothing bad to say about it."

"It was very accommodating and very nice. It had a very homey environment. As soon as you walk in the door, you see the kitchen, and we didn't care for that. The place was very clean, and the grounds were beautiful. We didn't care for the layout of the room. The staff was very friendly, but it turned us off when they were pushing us to sign the papers."

"I'm very happy with D'Desert Rose. I like the house, the atmosphere, and the room for my husband. It's very nice and cozy. When I first walked in, I immediately liked everything about it. So far so good, they're taking good care of him, and he's looking good. They have to help him get in and out of his wheelchair. He has memory problems, and he has dementia, but he's doing much better in being there. They're very concerned about him, they make sure he gets a haircut or a shave, and they take very good care of him. The staff even came out when I brought stuff to the house for him; they're very helpful. I haven't tried the food, but I've smelled it when I've been there visiting with him. I can't go in because of COVID; they're being very careful about that. So I speak to my husband through the window in the dining room, which is next to the window. I've been there while they're cooking, and it smelled very good."

"I liked the cleanliness and how caring and very kind the caregivers were at Crystal Garden RCFE. They took care of the residents there. I know they took care of my husband, even though he was only there for two months. I could tell myself, just the way he was when I would go visit him, that he felt very comfortable. They did a good job and I would recommend that place. It was very clean, although they were doing construction at that time. It's a very nice home in a very nice area and a very quiet neighborhood. They were adding more rooms to the facility and they were extending out their front patio. They had exercises, crafts, different types of games, puzzles, and other activities. They also had music where they sang. I liked that my husband was involved in all of that."

"Merrill Gardens at Rancho Cucamonga is very nice, but it isn't as nice presentation wise as the other two places I went to. It's location was very park-like and I liked that."

We have 1 private room. We have One bedridden room with medical bed. All rooms have TV, dresser, bed, and touch-activated lamps. Activities and light exercise. Meals and snacks provided. Laundry services are provided. We have Housekeeping. She comes in weekly. We offer haircuts from a low-cost 3rd part. Low-cost transportation to appointments or outings. Near a large park. RN supervised. Medication assistance and reminders.
