This facility has been in my community for a long time. I was urged by Lane Regional Med Center to go to Grace in Slaughter. I stuck with my gut and sent my mother to Zachary Manor. I have never been more impressed in my life. This facility defines the phrase " team work". The rooms were immaculate, the staff was so personable and knowledgeable. The Supervisors in every department are involved with care. The food overall could be better, but it is in a nursing home, a lot of restriction probably apply. There are so many activities a day! The activity director blew my mind. People coming to sing, painting, BINGO, etc. I did not know that in a nursing facility they did stuff like this. THE RESIDENT/STAFF/FAMILY parties are so much fun and geared towards the residents!! I would never go anywhere else for my loved ones and I will forever stand behind the Zachary Manor and all their values.
