"Brookdale Shreveport is very nice. The person basically pre-qualified us before taking us out on the tour. When I told her that my dad was someone that would wander, she told me that it wouldn’t work at their facility because they are not a lockdown and also they’re on a busy road. I appreciated that because she didn’t let me go through the whole process, and then tell me it wasn’t going to work. They seemed very knowledgeable, and it looked like a very nice place. It would have been perfect if it had been a lockdown facility. They had bingo, games, and crafts. There’s just a lot of different stuff going on. "

"my grandmother and grandfather lived there, the grounds are very nice and large enough for people to wander around. the main area was also the dinning room which was very nice. they had a very nice activity director that seemed to really care about the residents. the staff was curtious and very helpful. all the rooms are furnished with a half kitchen and full bathroom. the rooms are well laid out and the bedroom had enough space for a king sized bed. i liked this place alot and would suggest it to anyone looking to find a assisted living home for theyre loved ones. if theyre was anything i didnt like it would have to be that its placed directly on a main road and it can be very loud for resisdents at night because of the many trucks or eighteen wheelers passing by late at night. either way its a very nice well laid out place. "

"We took my mom to Brookdale Bossier City, which is near where my mother, sister-in-law, and brother are, so we thought that would probably be the best. Of the places we visited, it was the most likely to encourage interaction of residents. They had little neighborhoods where you have several immediate neighbors and all the doors were facing each other and a sitting area. These little areas were interspersed throughout the hallways, both upstairs and downstairs, so I thought it was conducive to decreasing that isolation people have a lot of the time. I liked the tour guide because she was so personable with the potential residents and not condescending. Brookdale Bossier City would have been my mother's choice and our choice. It made the other communities that we looked at look considerably less desirable. "

"My Father lived at Montclair for several years. He received great care. From the day we toured with the director till the day he passed away Renee was always there the staff was awesome. It starts at the top and she is a great example. When she walks the halls you feel her care her smile is contagious through out the building it us obvious her staff respects her and she respects and cares for them. If you ever need an assisted living for a loved one. You should go visit Montclair. I'm very confident you will choose it for your loved one. It's beautiful and has great care. "
